  • 55th CLEANLINESS DRIVE – ANTI-LITTER CLUB

    Demonstrating ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and campus cleanliness, the Anti-Litter Club of the college conducted its 55th Cleanliness Drive on February 26, 2025. The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and staff, who actively engaged in cleaning the college campus and nearby surroundings. This consistent effort highlights the college’s dedication to promoting a clean, eco-friendly, and mindful learning environment for all.

  • “MEET THE DEPUTY COMMISSIONER” PROGRAMME

    Students of the College participated in the “Meet the Deputy Commissioner” programme on February 24, 2025 under the guidance of KL Vashti Khou, Dean of Students.
    They interacted with Smt. Mamoni Doley, IAS, the Deputy Commissioner of Senapati, on their grievances and had discussion on issues like commuting, traffic safety, zebra crossings, and auto fares. Students also inquired about her journey to becoming an IAS officer.
    The programme was insightful and received a positive response from the Deputy Commissioner, making it a meaningful experience.

  • STUDENTS’ INTERACTION WITH THE GOVERNOR OF MANIPUR


    Students of Mount Everest College participated in an interactive session with the Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, who visited Senapati on February 22, 2025 to inaugurate a new Computer Center at the DC Office, intended for competitive exam preparation. During the session, students engaged with the Governor on topics such as the Governor’s role and issues related to the education system, gaining valuable insights and encouragement.

  • EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO DIMAPUR ZOOLOGICAL PARK AND SERICULTURE FARM


    The Department of Zoology organized a two-day educational trip to Dimapur Zoological Park and Sericulture Farm for 24 students from 5th Semester DSE – Wildlife and Bio-Resource Management and 2nd Semester SEC – Sericulture, under the guidance of Ms. K. Lungshila (HoD) and Ms. M. Leshine (Asst. Professor). The visit aimed to help students observe various wildlife species, understand their habitats, and learn about conservation efforts. At the Sericulture Farm, students gained hands-on experience in silkworm rearing, silk production, and its economic and environmental relevance, making the trip highly informative and enriching.

  • 53rd CLEANLINESS DRIVE – ANTI-LITTER CLUB

    The Anti-Litter Club of the college, with continued dedication to environmental awareness and campus hygiene, conducted its 53rd Cleanliness Drive on February 12, 2025.
    The drive had an active involvement of students and staff in cleaning the college premises and surrounding areas. This initiative reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to fostering a clean, responsible, and eco-conscious learning environment.

  • PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL SEMINAR ON AISHE SURVEY 2023

    The IQAC Coordinator of the college, Mr. Niomchung Jatak participated in the One Day National Seminar on AISHE Survey 2023 held on February 11, 2025, at DM College of Teacher Education, Imphal.
    The seminar was organized by the AISHE Manipur State Unit, under the Directorate of University and Higher Education, Government of Manipur, and focused on enhancing data quality and awareness related to higher education surveys.

  • ACHIEVEMENT IN THE INTER-COLLEGE WINTER FEST-2025

    Students of Mount Everest College proudly participated in the Inter-College Winter Fest 2025 organized by Mt. Zion College on February 8, 2025.
    Representing the college with enthusiasm and talent, they secured notable achievements. Mr. Thaohriilou Seth from the Physics Department won 1st prize in Solo Singing, while Stoibina Blessy, also from Physics, earned 2nd position in Debate for her confident and articulate performance. The Mount Everest College Dance Group impressed the audience and judges alike, securing 2nd position in the Group Dance category. Their success reflects the college’s encouragement of co-curricular excellence.
    We congratulate all participants for bringing pride and recognition to the institution.

  • STAFF MEETING

    A staff meeting was held on February 8, 2025, organised by the IQAC, MEC to discuss key academic and administrative matters. The meeting covered several important agendas including the observance of national and international events, presentation of the academic report (2023–2024) for all departments, and planning of the academic calendar.

    Further discussions focused on enhancing co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, organizing self-defence training for girls, and ensuring syllabus completion within the scheduled timeframe. Other miscellaneous topics were also addressed. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to improved coordination and student engagement across departments.

  • FIRST COMBINED TEST, 2025


    February 3-8, 2025

    The First Combined Test of 2025 was conducted from 3rd to 8th February, 2025 for students of the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Semesters under the NEP curriculum. The test aimed to assess students’ academic progress and readiness for the semester. All examinations were held smoothly with active participation and cooperation from both students and faculty.

  • EMPORIUM – MOUNT EVEREST COLLEGE STUDENTS SELECTED BY ITC GRAND CHOLA, CHENNAI

    Emporium proudly celebrates the placement of S. Stoila (Maram), K. Mosoziio (Mao), and NG Hangaolu (Poumai) from Mount Everest College, Senapati branch. These dedicated alumni have secured positions at the prestigious ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. The Emporium Senapati team congratulates them and wishes continued success in their careers.
