A systematic Voter’s Education was organized by Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) in collaboration with Regional Registration Office under SVEEP at the college premises on 4th November, 2023 under the theme “Greater Participation for a Stronger Democracy”.

Career Guidance and Counselling programme was held at the college Auditorium on 30th November, 2023, under the theme “Called to Serve”. The programme was organized by IQAC in collaboration with Career guidance and Counselling cell under the sponsorship of Directorate of University and Higher Education, Govt. of Manipur under College Students Mentoring Initiative (COSMI) Phase – 1.

District Level Yuva Utsav: India@2047 was conducted at Mount Everest College Auditorium hall under the theme “Panch Pran” organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Senapati and in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Mount Everest College, Senapati on 14th October, 2023 . Over 400 students participated the events.






The Mount Everest College Alumni Association (MECAA) organised its first ever Alumni Meet on 6th October, 2023 at the College Auditorium under the theme “Reunite to Revitalise”. The Institute takes pride in producing thousands of graduates. As such, Alumnus of this institute from far and wide of the country and abroad were invited. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. V. Alexander Pao, President, Mount Everest College, Dr. Samson S Chiru, Principal, Gonmei Meithuanlungpou, Vice Principal, Assistant Professor of the college and several Alumni members.
It was an event of reminiscing the past by the alumnus and the teachers. The alumnus shared their success stories and how this institution has shaped them into achieving it. They further encouraged and inspired the present students to carry on the good work and win accolades for the college. Overall it was a memorable and productive event.



Mount Everest College NSS Unit-1 in collaboration with Taphou Phyamai youth organised Gandhi Jayanti/Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada on 2nd October 2023 at Taphou Phyamai Village (adopted village under NSS Unit 1). 30 NSS Unit 1 Volunteer and 30 Taphou Phyamai Youth participated the cleanliness Drive. All the volunteers were divided into three teams of 20 volunteers each and cleaning the village site at Upper, Middle and Upper Colony respectively.

Mount Everest College NSS Unit-1, MEC Anti-litter Club, Extension Committee in collaboration with Senapati District Olympic Association Manipur (SDOAM) organized Extension activities on cleanliness Drive and Campaign on 29th September 2023 at Senapati Turf Ground in relation to Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada from 15th September to 2nd October 2023. Cleanliness Drive starts at 10:30 pm at Senapati Turf Ground. Cleaning the channel, ground, surrounding areas near the market, disposal of dustbin. Later Awareness campaign at the stadium was organized, using loud speaker request the public not to litter but to put in the dustbin provided. Many spectators around the stadium and the market participated in the awareness campaign and also distributed them the pamphlet of the earth & Earthling mission. 40 NSS Unit-1 volunteer and 25 Anti Litter Club Volunteer along with Teacher incharge participated the programme.

Awareness on Peace Building programme was organized by the IQAC Mount Everest College as a part of Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada and Follow-up of Ant ragging & Anti- intoxicant on 28th September 2023 at Auditorium hall. The purpose of the programme is to promote the values of love, justice, liberty, equality, fraternity and honesty. Shri Gonmei Meithuanlungpou speaking as a resource person deliberated to maintain peace and harmony among students who come far and width in perused of Education. Dr. V. Alexander Pao, President of the College urge all the students of different community to learn to live together to promote values of love, justice, liberty, equality, fraternity and honesty. Later of the programme All the gathering sung the National Anthem and exchanged a friendship handshake as a mark of covenant to promote the value of peace and love within and outside the premises of the institute and in our state of Manipur in particular. All the students of all Streams and semesters both boys and girls.
