    A heartfelt farewell programme was held on May 30, 2024, organised by the Department of Teacher Education (B.Ed), under the theme “Let your Dreams take Flight” featuring speeches, performances, and tokens of appreciation, bidding a warm goodbye to departing members.

  • ACHIEVEMENT IN STATE LEVEL OPEN ESSAY COMPETITION

    One Jianreilung Malangmei, BSc 3rd Semester, Botany Department, participated in the State Level Open Essay Competition held on May 24, 2024, organised by Manipur Library Association (MALA).
    He secured Second position on the topic “Role of Voluntary Organizations in providing Public Library Services in Manipur”.

  • PARTING SOCIAL DAY

    On May 14, 2024, a Parting Social Programme was held to bid farewell to the graduating class, the 6th semester. The event featured speeches, musical performances, and dances. Students and teachers shared fond memories, and heartfelt goodbyes were exchanged, marking the end of a memorable chapter for the departing students.

  • CAREER GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING PROGRAMME

    The Career Guidance and Counselling Cell, Mount Everest College organised a career guidance and counseling programme on May 10, 2024, offering students insights into various career paths, personalised advice and strategies for academic and professional success.

  • ANNUAL CHARITY DAY

    The Annual Charity Day with the theme “Give in Secret” organised by the Department of Commerce and Chapel Committee, MEC on May 3, 2024 encouraged anonymous donations, emphasizing the spirit of selfless giving. Participants contributed generously to various causes, including education, healthcare, and aid for the underprivileged. The event fostered a sense of community and compassion, highlighting the impact of kindness without seeking recognition.

  • EXPOSURE TRIP AND CLEANLINESS DRIVE

    A cleanliness drive and exposure trip to Zaimeng Lake, Thonglang organised by the Department of English in collaboration with Anti-Litter Club, MEC on April 4, 2024 was a successful initiative that witnessed active engagement of students in cleaning the lake and its surroundings. The team also set an example for the local community on maintaining a clean and sustainable environment. Local residents expressed appreciation and gratitude to the little service the team rendered.

  • FIELD TRIP TO MALAMZAI FALLS – BOTANY DEPARTMENT

    The Botany Department organised a Field Trip to Malamzai Falls, Kangpokpi District, Manipur on May 4, 2024 undertaking field study and collection of Byrophytes and Algae. The trip had an outcome of familiarisation of biomes, ecosystem and vegetation.

  • ACCOLADES FOR THE INSTITUTE IN INTER-COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

    The B.Ed Department (MECTE) brought accolades for the institute by securing FIRST POSITION in Men’s Category in the INTER-COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT organised by Mt. Pisgah College, Senapati on April 29, 2024.
