  • World Anthropology Post Congress 2023 International Seminar Anthropology in Practice: Health, Culture & Security

    Anthropology Department, Manipur University with other colleges of Manipur including Department of Anthropology, Mount Everest College, Senapati jointly organized the International Seminar in commemoration with World Anthropology Post Congress 2023, held during 15-17 February, 2024.

    K L Vashti Khou, Asst. Professor, Department of Anthropology, MEC participated in the seminar and presented a paper on “Reproductive Health Awareness among the Female College Students of Senapati District of Manipur”.

  • Botany Field Trip

    Department of Botany, MEC organized a field trip to Curcuma Green Hill Organic at Emesiiphro Taphou, Senapati on 10th February, 2024 under the topic “Organic Farming and Recycling Organic waste”. 11 students of first semester along with 3 faculties participated in the field trip.

  • Two-Day National Seminar

    Organized by the Research Committee in collaboration with IQAC, Mount Everest College a Two-Day National Seminar on “Climate Change: Action Policies and Responsibilities of the Government” was held on 6 & 7 February, 2024 at College Auditorium. The seminar was conducted in blended mode in which 22 Research Scholars, faculties and expert from varied universities across the nation participated in the seminar.

    Prof. N. Deva Singh, Former HOD, Department of Geography, Former Dean of School of Human and Environmental Science, MU delivered the Key note address and elaborated on the causes of climate change. Principal, Vice Principal, faculties and students participated in the seminar.

  • PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA-2024

    The students of the college joined the live telecast interaction of Hon’ble Prime Minister with students, Teachers, Parents on Pariksha Pe Charcha-2024 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan New Delhi on 29th January, 2024 at 11:00 am. 300 students along with faculties participated in the programme telecast live on Youtube.

  • Participation in the 75th Republic Day celebration

    The students of Mount Everest College comprising of two contingents-Boys and Girls participated in the 75th Republic Day celebration organized by District Administration Senapati on 26th January, 2024 at Khabung Karong, Senapati. The girl contingent bagged 3rd position in the march past competition.

  • District Level Inter-College Quiz Competition

    Members of Quiz Club of the college participated in the District Level Inter-College Quiz Competition organized by Asufii Christian Institute, Punanamei, Mao, Manipur held on 12th December 2023 at Asufii Christian Institute. The team brought accolade to the institution by bagging 3rd Position.

  • CAREER GUIDANCE CUM RECRUITMENT

    The Career Guidance and Counselling Cell organized a Career Guidance Cum Recruitment Programme in collaboration with Emporium, Nagaland on 4th December, 2023 at the college premises.

  • SYSTEMATIC VOTER’S EDUCATION

    A systematic Voter’s Education was organized by Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) in collaboration with Regional Registration Office under SVEEP at the college premises on 4th November, 2023 under the theme “Greater Participation for a Stronger Democracy”.

  • CAREER GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING

    Career Guidance and Counselling programme was held at the college Auditorium on 30th November, 2023, under the theme “Called to Serve”. The programme was organized by IQAC in collaboration with Career guidance and Counselling cell under the sponsorship of Directorate of University and Higher Education, Govt. of Manipur under College Students Mentoring Initiative (COSMI) Phase – 1.
