  • COMMENCEMENT OF EMPLOYMENT LINKED SKILL TRAINING IN COLLABORATION WITH EMPORIUM SKILLS TRAINING INSTITUTE

    Employment-linked skill training, in collaboration with Emporium Skills Training Institute, commenced at Mount Everest College, Senapati, on November 25, 2024.
    Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (ETCPL), a registered vocational training institute under the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), focuses on preparing students for careers in industries like hospitality, aviation, and cruise lines. With a goal to make students job-ready, ETCPL works extensively with stakeholders and operates through a network of over 100 skill institutes nationwide.

  • SEMESTER END EXAMINATION

    The BA/BSC/BCOM Examination, 2024 ( May) (NEP) at Mount Everest College was conducted successfully adhering to the university examination guidelines from November 5 – November 8, 2024.
    Students reported on time, and invigilation was thorough to ensure fairness. No major incidents or malpractice were reported.

  • AN INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO TAPHOU KRISHI October 19, 2024


    An introductory visit to Taphou Krishi village, adopted by the Department of Sociology, Mount Everest College, was scheduled on October 19, 2024.
    The visit aimed to familiarise students with the local agricultural practices and community dynamics. Additionally, participants engaged in a tree plantation drive, promoting environmental sustainability and fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature.

  • 45th CLEANLINESS DRIVE – ANTI-LITTER CLUB October 16, 2024


    The Anti-Litter Club of Mount Everest College conducted its 45th Cleanliness Drive in and around the campus, promoting environmental responsibility and encouraging community participation in maintaining cleanliness.

  • FIRST COMBINED TEST, 2024


    The First Combined Test, 2024 was conducted from September 9, 2024 to September 14, 2024, integrating assessment from multiple subjects or class levels. The test aimed to evaluate students’ overall grasp of the material covered in their courses so far.
    The test was successfully conducted with strict adherence to examination guidelines.

  • CHIEF MINISTER’S EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD September 5, 2024


    Mount Everest College recently reached a remarkable milestone by securing 7th place in the Chief Minister’s Award for Educational Excellence, 2024. This prestigious recognition highlights the college’s outstanding standards in educational quality, innovative teaching practices, and contributions to academic development in the State. The award positions Mount Everest College among the top educational institutions, showcasing its dedication to creating a supportive learning environment and advancing educational practices.

    Additionally, the college received a commendation prize of Rs. 1,00,000 (One Lakh) during the State Level Teachers’ Day Celebration, 2024, further underscoring its achievements and providing resources to enhance its initiatives and support faculty and students.

  • END SEMESTER EXAMINATION – BA/BSc/ BCom 3rd SEMESTER EXAMINATION, 2023 (NOVEMBER) (NEP)


    The End Semester Examination for BA/BSc/BCom 3rd Semester, Examination 2023 (November) (NEP) was successfully conducted from August 19, 2024 to August 22 2024. The exam was held with strict adherence to examination guidelines. Students reported on time, and invigilation was thorough to ensure fairness. No major incidents or malpractice were reported.

  • OBSERVATION OF HAR GHAR TIRANGA


    The Har Ghar Tiranga Week: August 12-15, 2024 was observed at the college with enthusiasm, promoting patriotism and celebrating national pride. Students and staff participated in the Tiranga Pledge, expressing their patriotism, and students and staff of diverse tribes and ethnicity signed “Jai Hind” in their respective tongue, showcasing unity in diversity.
    A Tiranga Yatra was also held to promote national unity, patriotism, and respect for the national flag. Moreover, Tiranga Selfies was also held to promote love for the nation through social media platforms.
    Patriot’s Day was also observed on August 14, 2024, with tributes to freedom fighters, speeches and pledges taking to honour the sacrifices for the nation’s independence.

  • ONE DAY AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON ANTI-RAGGING


    In commemoration of Anti-Ragging Week-August 12 to 18, 2024, a One Day Awareness Campaign on Anti-Ragging was organised on 12th August, 2024 at the Auditorium Hall.
    Organised by the Anti-Ragging and Anti- Intoxication Cell, and IQAC, MEC, the campaign aimed to sensitize the students on the effects of ragging in society. A pledge was also taken to maintain a safe, respectful campus.
