BOTANY DEPARTMENT ENRICHES CAMPUS WITH ORCHID PLANTATION DRIVE

On April 29, 2025, the Department of Botany, Mount Everest College, conducted an Orchid Plantation Programme to further enrich its existing orchid collection.
The green initiative aimed to promote biodiversity conservation and environmental awareness. With this drive, the college now boasts 15 indigenous orchid species, reflecting its ongoing commitment to preserving native flora, enriching both its natural beauty and ecological value, while fostering environmental awareness among students and staff.
